I know we all like feedback.

So here goes

Shibby, overall the tune, Big improvement from your last mix. Everything is separated well, you matched everyone's volumes with the track perfectly. Just an awesome job.

SmokinDog, as always, perfect tone, and a style that is all your own. I think if I heard you on a record, I could pick you out instantly. Hey that's SmokinDog!

Shibby, interesting, you don't really use the cliche licks, you could use a little more of a dirty tone.

Yoyo, coming along very nicely, cool groove, warm tone, a very alive sound.

Taso, I think this is 1st, I've heard of your stuff. If that is typical, I hope to hear more of you. Great job!

Hue, you have a way bigger musical vocabulary than the rest of us. Blues tunes can become boring, a nice walk outside the typical blues and penatontic stuff.

Thanks! I don't think I nearly meet those standards, but the compliment is appreciated. I'm more than confident that everybody I've jammed with here, and has had the cahones to post their own tunes here, is capable to exceed those standards.

The plus side for all of us is that we are all individuals and will all develop something unique to share that no one else will be able to duplicate. I can't wait to hear what comes from this site in a year. In two years. In ten years. It's gonna be something really worthwhile to look forward to.

This is by far the most progressive thinking music page I visit. Even with all the debates about shredding, people are still willing to accept opinions and encourage. It's truly a great site. One of a kind.

You all rule! 8)

This is the first online jam that I've listened to, and I have to say that I am completely impressed. I'm going to have to go back and listen to it a few more times before I would have anything to say to anyone specific (I like to get a feel for things before I say anything about it), but kudos to all you folks who were in on this.

It's really inspiring to see this. I'm going to have to watch this folder more carefully and get in on one of these (whenever I get setup to record that is).

Our songs also have the standard pop format: Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, solo, bad solo. All in all, I think we sound like The Knack and the Bay City Rollers being molested by Black Flag and Black Sabbath.

Right this moment I'm acoustic-less (that is subject to change in January), however I could always run to my brother's house and borrow one of his instruments, however I dont even have a crappy computer mic anymore to record with. I've been looking around, but without knowing anything about mic-ing equiptment and knowing that I dont have the money right this moment for a new sound card or a decent preamp I havent even attempted to get anything onto my computer in a while.

By the way, someone posted something about an article for recording for online jams, but I couldnt find the article. If someone could post a link to that so that I have some idea how things work, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Thanks Shift, and I agree with you about everyone else, exellent job, far better than any of the work I've done... SmokinDog, I never knew you've been playing for 30 years! I've only been playin for about a year to a year an a half....

BTW does anyone have trouble getting their stuff onto tape? I was playing to that backing track and came up with something I thought was decent, and then I screw up the whole thing when I record... :?

That makes two of us Dog. Nobody sounds like you do though. Be glad for that. It's one thing to be a technician. It's something altogether different to be an individual. 8)

Smokin, I could be way off here, but I think he meant when the tape starts running, he can't seem to play as good.

Maybe?
