could you do Yousendit?
could you do Yousendit?
That definately looks like a viable possibility. Thanks for the info.
Not sure though if that was a request for me or not...
the format will be wav
Consider: After recording, if you convert the format to 160 kb/s @ 44.1 kS/s stereo MP3, the file size will be about 1/9 that of the original stereo WAV -- and very few people will be able to tell the difference.

What is this?

I don't want to take the time to download that monstrosity.
Use ogg or MP3
YouSendit.com is a service that allows you to send large files to people. They recieve an email and download it from their server.
let's just make an MP3 or ogg. You are talking about a 50 mb file instead or 4mb.

In case I was too subtle above: I agree ... though ogg may be too "exotic" for some.

Um.. how do we save those to disc? When I try it just ends up being a stream link.
Hue: If you are using a Windows OS and Media Player to play the stream, check in your Temporary Internet Files folder for a buffered version of the stream. I usually sort by size to locate larger files such as mp3s. Copy the file elsewhere and you've got it. Exact location of Temporary Internet Files depends on the version of Windows -- for 98 and ME it's probably in the Windows folder. For 2000 and XP, it should be buried in Documents and Settings under your login name.
