So heres the thing, i just heard about this site, i think its wicked. I'm always trying to convince my friends to jam through files. I like classical, metal progressive, Swedish death metal, funk and driving jazz, but my music usually cant fit into a genre really, i like experimental, unique. If anyone wants to send some tracks and we could jam that would be fun. My email is [email protected] Give me a shout if you want to play, Party on
So the challenge is, Make a complete new original song. A metal song, or perhaps funk,
Who ever wants to make the foundation for the song - post first. A completely original riff, guitar, the genre of your choice.
Then the next person who wants to post a track will download the first track and add a new riff to the song, maybe changing styles timing, you name it.
We will continue this process until we have a song that is finished.
Then hopefully we can find a bass player, id love to play drums, and if we're really lucky we will get a vocalist.
We will end up with an original song that has many peoples riffs in it and hopefully a very unique sound.

Im using adobe audition by the way, any wav or mp3 and most other files will work :P
Also, dont worry too much about the sound quality, not everyone has a million dollar studio at the disposal

interesting idea. I am a jammer at heart. Ive been jamming for twelve years. what comes out of the jams is usually interesting. when I find some time I can send you something. maybe this weekend. I have oud, sitar, and the usual guitars. my musical interests are all over the map and history.
