i'm looking for a nice sounding acoustic, now my idea of nice sounding is full and dark but at the same time the high end can chime out... i like a cutaway and also acoustic elec if i can but its not a must... cutaway is a definate..

anybody know of one for sale let me know. not looking to spend a ton, but i did check ebay they have takamine jasmines not sure abou these for about 81.00

my recently acquired Ibanez EW20WNE has a nice dark tone to it, and I suspect changing the strings will produce a brighter high end. that's on straight acoustic. plugged in, there's a much wider tonal palette due to the onboard pre and pickup. you can roll the treble right up for jangly and bright, or keep it fiarly llevelled, with the mids up for a darker tone. definitely worth a check. mine was 269UK pounds, not sure where you're at in the world, but you could probs get it cheaper if you're US-based, or just hunt around online.

there's a couple of jasmine owners on this site, but I've never tried them so can't comment there, sorry.
