not arjen, i'm not going to argue with you, but the central note isn't the only part of the melody, and the ornaments are sometimes a vital part of the melody. and blues based rock breaks with a lot of those conventions. you're making a very specific point which is true enough, but doesn't contradict what i said.

I didn't consider ornaments in my equation . . .
Should I add them in? . . .
or do I multiply? . . . . by the number of ornaments . . .
or is it another exponential factor?
