I'm glad that VH1 is finally showing some old school concerts on tv. Can't stop watching this and classic albums.

VH1 Classic is probably different in the USA than in Great Britain and Europe - it used to be great at night, you'd have classic rock videos on from about 12midnight till 5am....these days, you're lucky to get any decent music at all.......
The BBC, on the other hand, cannot be faulted this year - they've had a very wide selection of music programmes, from folk to rock to blues to jazz - something for everyone. My personal favourite this year was the documentary on the making of "Disraeli Gears" by Cream - archive footage, interviews etc which was shown back-to-back with the Cream reunion concert - now there's 2 hours 21 mins of videotape I'm not going to be taping over anytime soon......
