Not sure what to do with mine yet, but a new guitar or gear is a good idea. :)
Those Casinos look nice, or maybe a nice new Tele... decisions, decisions!

Well, in a way I will be using it to buy a guitar. My wife and I are going to Denver at the end of the month, so we are using some of our money for that. However, while she is working, I will be visiting guitar shops in the area. I have already been given the okay to buy something while I am there. I don't know what my budget will be, but whatever it is I will be getting something "guitar." I am hoping for a nice used guitar and amp.

Thank's for the idea Wes. Being primarily an acoustic player, I've been looking at the GAD 212.

Well I did my patriotic duty.
After I got my economic incentive check, I bought a new guitar.
A Schecter Hellraiser (Black Cherry)
I like the feature where you can pull the pickup volume knobs to switch to single coils (on each pickup)
It has a 9-volt battery (compartment in the back). What's that for?
Here it is:

Shaweet! That's a beaut!

ken,
I would think the battery is for the pickups. I beleive you need some power to run active pickups

This is an interesting refund of tax. Well anyways, congrats to all who are gonna buy guitars.
Actually, if I wanted to spend my guitar buying dollar patriotically, I'd be buying a Godin or Larrivee.
Well, it wasn't patriotic of me but I bought an Art&Lutherie Folk model (made by Godin) and I love it! I believe Godin gets some tax advantage for exporting so the Australian price for the guitar was very reasonable.

Since buying it, my other guitars spend most of their time in their cases.

Yes, and they're activated (at least they were on my ESP) when you plug a cable in so you have to remember to take the cable out when your not playing so as to conserve battery life.
