Any other Van Halenheads in here? I've been listening to them since I was a little kid. My mom actually told me about this new bluegrass CD coming out called "Strummin' with the Devil: The Southern Side of Van Halen." She told me David Lee Roth is singing on two of the songs and that immediately grabbed my attention...

http://www.cmt.co m's got the entire album online in streaming media, and I REALLY like the new versions of Jamie's Cryin that features David Lee Roth and I'll Wait by Blue Highway. anyone else hear about this?

Here's the tracklist i got from http://www.strumminwiththedevil.com :
1. Jump - David Lee Roth with the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band
2. Jamie's Cryin' - David Lee Roth with the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band (Full Version)
3. I'll Wait - Blue Highway
4. Runnin' with the Devil - the John Cowan Band
5. Dance the Night Away - Mountain Heart
6. Ain't Talkin' ‘Bout Love - Iron Horse
7. Hot for Teacher - David Grisman and Sons
8. Feel Your Love Tonight - Tony Trischka, Dudley Connell, Marshall Wilborn, Dave McLaughlin
9. Panama - Cornbread Red
10. Unchained - Iron Horse
11. Ice Cream Man - Larry Cordle
12. And the Cradle Will Rock… - the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band
13. Could This Be Magic? - the Nashville Bluegrass Band
14. Eruption - Dennis Caplinger
15. Jamie's Cryin' - David Lee Roth with the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band (Radio Edit)

You need to look up Hayseed Dixie and check out their music.

I was listening to an Eagles gone bluegrass album a month or so back and really enjoyed it...i'll have to give this one a listen; I'm sure it's bound to be a lot of fun...I mean, how could Van Halen not be? (Please don't answer that, you might make me cry  lol)
