As some of you know, I'm also an avid dulcimer player, and it's usually pretty difficult to find any music for it that isn't traditional or folk. I just found this video of Bruce Hornsby playing a dulcimer! Other than Cyndi Lauper, I haven't seen too many dulcimer players out there these days. I have an uncle who used to build dulcimers. Beautiful instruments.
I LOVE playing the dulcimer! It's SO simple but can be so complex at times that it keeps me wanting to explore more ways to get more out of such a simple instrument. However, I can't play and hold it the way that Bruce is doing in the above video. I do it more a la Cyndi Lauper. Such a ladylike way to sit!!
