what band/group did mike bloomfield paly for? I've heard of him, but not what he did

Didn't Bloomfield play with Paul Butterfield's group?

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- "WOW--What a Ride!"

Bloomfield played ith Paul Butterfields Blues Band.

you must get that album. Butterfield is an awesome harp player. Bloomfield lays down the best classic licks youve ever heard.

Clapton did listen to the early Chicago blues guys. Listening to Hoodooman Blues I find it hard to see an influence on the Cream, other than the blues.

Bloomfield did another great album called SuperSessions.
he plays with Steve Stills and Al Cooper (organ).another classic.

Buddy Guy and Junior Wells have several albums out. any of them are good, but HooDooman is the greatest.

Just to let you all know, Buddy has a new album out this month, called

Bring Em In

And this is the track listing

1. Now You're Gone
2. Ninety Nine and One Half
3. What Kind Of Woman Is This?
4. Somebody's Sleeping In My Bed
5. I Put A Spell On You featuring Carlos Santana
6. On A Saturday Night
7. Ain't No Sunshine featuring Tracy Chapman
8. I've Got Dreams To Remember featuring John Mayer
9. Lay Lady Lay featuring Anthony Hamilton and Robert Randolph
10. Cheaper to Keep Her/Blues In The Night
11. Cut You Loose
12. The Price You Gotta Pay featuring Keith Richards
13. Do Your Thing

Buddy's latest, Bring ‘Em In, is in stores now! The set pairs the Chicago Blues Master with a host of musical legends like Keith Richards and Carlos Santana for inspired renditions of classics by Bob Dylan, Curtis Mayfield, Bill Withers and more.

I shall be in the local music shop this weekend

Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

Just a little update.

After not finding "Bring em in" in any music stores over here, I ordered it through Amazon the next day, now this is going back to september and today it finaly arrived. (What a fantastic sounding cd.) Well worth the wait

Buddy is brilliant on this latest venture although e has guest guitarists, he is doing the majority of the lead guitar parts and he hasn't lost any of his skills.

I can thoroughly recomend this album to all his fans. You will not be dissapointed
