i just wanted to vent and tell my story,
i m playing 5 weeks, i think im doing very well, i ve been playing the irish fiddle since i was 9 so goingt othe guitar has been a big jump.

i decided very quickly that i was going to get a new acoustic guitar, that i could plug in and play unplugged also.
i know alot of irish musicians so i d need something versatile at the same time.
with my 3 weeks owed rent i went online and found
this
http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop/flypage/product_id/24530

i thought it would be good and there was some great online reviews of the guitar.

i got an email the next day sayign they didnt have it in stock until march and that would be limited.
so
i went to choose another.
i made a trip around to some of the local stores in cork (ireland) and found this, which i found online from the same online store 400€ cheaper then the shops price

a twelve string.. even a bigger jump

3 days later i got a phone call (on a sunday) saying they didnt have this guitar in stock even though at the time online it said they had 2, so i would have to wait until jan to find out when they d have it in stock

yesterday i emailed after hearing no word on what the story was with my guitar,
emailed back saying they didnt and wouldnt have the 12 string in stock.
so i said i d wait for the ibanez
until like april

today being P****** off at the whole situation i started looking around.
i found another site with the guitar i wanted originally instock, but i also saw they had this ibanez

this is a video of some guy playing it on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSmIFxnAstg
so i think once i get my refund i ll order it.
it looks different sounds good
anyone any comments?
any other suggestions?
my other option was this takamine which did grab my attention

none of these are the "bets guitars i could buy" no doubt.
but for where i m at and wherre i m going, i can do no wrong.
my main aim is not to have to feel the need to upgrade to another guitar in 6 months time because i feel my guitar is crap or cant stand up to busking performing and recording...

Have you considered purchasing a used guitar? There are lots of good deals out there. Both of mine (Schecter electric and Fender acoustic) were bought used and I got great deals on them. They are great guitars.

Are you in the UK?

Take a look around, there are lots of other sites out there.

Since you are 2 for 2 in "out of stock" guitars with that particular vendor, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Is there a local guitar shop near you? It would be best if you had a chance to play a few guitars before purchasing.

Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.
