I picked up mine used at a local store for about $150 - $175 canadian, used. I think you should be able to find a used one even cheaper in the United States (Musical instruments are always much more expensive here in canada). Bear in mind, I have the Whammy Re-issue, not the Original Whammy pedal that sell for an outrageous amount of money on e-bay: apparently the original has better note tracking or something like that.
