I have a Dean 12 string and its a good guitar for the money.

Falling in love is like learning to play the guitar; first you learn to follow the rules, then you learn to play with your heart.

I don't like that Cherry burst either. Maybe if it was a "black" cherry burst. That bright red cherry looks like a "lady of the evening" lip gloss.

It is a small world for metal fanatics. I welcome you fellow musicians, especially the metalheads!

... and so it goes

My brother visited Guitarcenter in Washington DC yesterday. I'd ordered an Amber Dean Boca 12 string electric. But to qoute him: "they had more bass guitars and guitars than you will find in total in Oslo, but no 12 string electric".

While I was sound asleep - he decided on an Ovation Celebrity 12 string for me instead

Hummmmmmm

I've never been a fan of plastic guitars. And it 's a little bit like "Hey, they didn't have cigarettes so I bought you some delicious cheese instead"

nah - it's ok. I guess I can sell it and get my money back here if I don't like it

He's flying home with it tomorrow - in the meantime: any experiences with Ovation?

...only thing I know how to do is to keep on keepin' on...

Ovation rocks. They appear to be a love-or-hate brand but I've never ran into one that didn't sound and play great.

No experiences, just try some of them in the guitar stores. I also read and heard the previous opinion.

Congrats!
