My friends, I'm an unabashed Iron Maiden fan, but their recent stuff has left me feeling a little unfulfilled. Today I was listening to the song "Dance of the Dead" from 2004 and while the lyrics are not very good or imaginative the guitar is pretty cool. It has a very "classical guitar" Yngwie feel to it.
If anyone gets a chance to listen to it, let me know what you think. Make sure you get into the middle of the song before passing judgement - it takes a good 3 or 4 minutes to heat up. It just struck me so I figured I'd clog up some bandwidth with this post.
