Simply question I guess; I was wondering what was the difference between these 2 guitars other than aesthetics and the head. I'm not too capable of reading a guitar like I could a computer ^^;;

Well, the pricier one has 3 on a side tuners and they state they are sealed die cast. The cheaper one has 6 in a row and it does not state if they are sealed or not. Sealed diecast tuners are the way to go unless you have vintage tuners but they cost even more IMHO. I don't know that the cheaper one doesn't have sealed tuners, it just doesn't say. It says other next to the tuners, that might frighten me. Low end covered tuners do not work well and are not smooth. Besides, the beast head stock on the $229 one looks cool! :twisted:

Yea the widow head stock is very "pretty". I think I'll just drop a few extra for the pricier one. Oh one thing I noticed, a lot of guitars have 6 on one side or 3 on both, is there a performance benefit to either one?

I don't think it matters. I have 20 guitars and to the best of my recallection I have 11 with 3 on a side, 8 with 6 on a side and 1 that has 4 on one side and 2 on the other. I prefer the 3 on a side but I don't think there is a benifit or advantage to either configeration.

apparently, 6 in a line is supposed to improve tuning stability, as that's why Leo Fender introduced them to his guitarrs way back when. but the whammy bar on strats counteracted that somewhat.

(I've no idea if this has been tested or what the results where, just commenting on the history of guitar making, the 'science' behind it might be baloney).

The only practical advantage I see is that with 6 in a row you turn them all the same way to tune up.

I have guitars that you turn the pegs one way on one side and the other way on the other, and some that you turn the same way, and they're not all ones with 6 in a row, either. Sometimes I get confused and turn the wrong way.

Not a lot of difference between the two guitars other than looks. I'd go for the Warlock, 'cause it's more metal. However this is the B.C. Rich I prefer

in Ghost Black or Dragon's Blood

Ahhh yes... pretty model. I didn't wanna buy a higher end model just yet. When I get much better and warrant buying something worthy, then I'll do a major upgrade XD
