For years I have said that my 2000 MIM Fender Stratocaster was my favorite. Now I have turned the tables and would like to say my Regal Resonator has gotten the nod.Even though I still can't play slide very well,it doesn't keep me from trying.I love the nostaglic look about it.I often tell people that it's my grandfather's guitar, and a few of them believe me! So I've been playing the reso most of the time, followed by the Takamine.I haven't plugged in my electrics in over a year.So what's your #1 guitar?
A few months ago, I would have said my Ovation. A few months before that, my Schecter.
Now, my classical, A LaPatrie Etude is my guitar of choice. I play it for pretty much everything these days.
My favorite guitar changes as my musical interest does.

Hmm tough not sure I have a fav. My main guitar has been a MIM Strat that I've had for about 5 years and it feels very comfortable in my hand. I also have a Jackson DNKY which I like but don't play much at all. The main reason is the Floyd Rose and the pain it is to tune.
My newest guitar is an Epiphone LP that at first I thought I would bring back but it is slowly getting used more and more everyday. I currently have the Strat tuned down a half step so I'm using the LP for pretty much everything else.
The sound is so much different than the Strat and it took some getting used to.
So right now still the Strat but the LP is a close 2nd.
Probably the best guitar in the house is the wife's Jackson which has a Floyd Rose also.I had some trouble getting that thing tuned up so I put it down and haven't touched it but it's a really nice guitar and very comfortable to play.

It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
Favorite . . . . hmmm.
My Squier Classic Vibe and my G&L ASAT Classic are the two that usually wind up on stage with me.
Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.
A Kalamazoo KG2 solid body I found in a Kansas City thrift store, in pieces, around 1980. Over the years I have learned everything I know about guitar repair while turning the thing into a playable guitar. More than playable -- the neck pickup (Melody Maker) straight into a nice vintage tube amp is just the best guitar sound ever.

if my house were burning down and I could only grab one guitar, it'd be my Telecaster.
A CM Marvel. Not a well known brand, but a great rock axe that will play the blues, and a lot of other stuff besides. I recently had to choose, making an international move. Had this one for two years, and it's the only one that moved with me, hope it always will:
And thanks TR for showing me how to post a pic!

My battered and most unreliable axe, my US Strat. No question.
Before Christmas it would have been my cheap acoustic because it was the only guitar I owned.
...but I'd always wanted an electric...
For Christmas, Wifey bought me an inexpensive Cort G200 Strat copy. That would be the one today as it's the only electric I own. I've never played any other electric guitars so I have nothing to compare it to, but I absolutely love my Cort. I was worried about it because I had never heard of Cort. Dual tone controls is lacking on this guitar and would be nice, but I'm fine with that.
Not fond of the amp though. Crate FlexWave R15 - 15 watt and 12" driver. Not sure if it's the amp though or the pickups in the guitar. Was the only amp I could find that I could listen to (and afford) around Christmas time. Wish I could have listened to the Peavy 15 watt, but only 1 out of 5 music shops had a $100 amp.
it is the guitar I've had for 18 years now. it is my Strat Plus. I love this guitar. it has never ever let me down.
Mine would definitely have to be my 2008 Fender Highway 1 Strat HSS. It has some awesome schaller locking tuners in it too
By far my Ibanez EW20KOENT Classical, love the look, the tone, just how it feels....wonderful guitar!
