Agree. It's coffee in the morn, but when I sit down at night to play, it is almost always with a cold one.
Favorites are constantly changing. I am heavy into IPAs these days. Guinness is my old standby and always a favorite. In the summer I tend toward lighter stuff like Corona. However, generally I stay away from the big national brewers. Just as I'm a bit of a coffee snob, I am also a micro-brew snob. Dog Fish Head is one of my favorites. http://www.dogfish.com

I don't drink alcohol anymore due to a cardiac arrhythmia that reacts to it, but I used to love Pig's Eye beer when we could get it. We only ever found it up in northern Wisconsin, and I'm thinking it might be a Minnesota-brewed beer. We'd go up north on vacation in the summer and haul some home to savor into the colder months. Mmmm..... The non-alcoholic beers just don't quite compare.

Fortunately, I live in the second best beer brewing country in the world - Germany (Belgium comes first, they have some amazing beers) - I actually live a couple of miles from the oldest brewery in the world. To have a favourite is difficult, when you have so much choice, but I like Hacker-Pschorr 1417, Augustiner Edelstoff, Budweiser (the REAL Czech stuff), Auer, Holledauer Weissbier,...............................
So much choice, so little time............

i was stationed in frankfurt for 2and a half years, i have never had belgium beer,

However, my current favorite is Blue Moon Belgian White. Hard to find at bars though so then I try for Sam Adams Light. If they don't have that, I go for Bud Select. None of that either, Bud Light. Sigh. :)
My favorite type of beer are the German hefeweizens. Good, good stuff!

Blue Star, MGD, Guinness, Corona. I pretty much drink the four of those. Canadian Light or something like that if I'm at somebody else's house. Anything thats not Budweiser if fine by me though.
