I played along with Master of Reality a lot when I first started (and that album was new), but Sweet Leaf, that's one great riff...

If you ask me, Fairies Wear Boots is the superior "guitar cut" from Paranoid, but that's just me. :)

War Pigs, Behind the Wall of Sleep, NIB, Ironman.

I remember my older brother bringing home the first Black Sabbath album. Must have been around '69 or '70. I really liked the music, but the image of the band was a little disturbing to me. I thought these guys must be Satan worshippers, something I am not into at all.

I never liked the later Black Sabbath albums. Same with Deep Purple, I liked their early stuff, later on they started sounding like an orchestra. I like Rock to be simple.

But that's just me.

Yeah, that's about right. That would be around '69. I was 15. Now I am 52.

Sheesh, am I gettin' old. I was 2 years older than ROCK back in '69.

No need to worry Wes, we still have a few years on the Stones - and MacCartney - and The Who - and John Fogerty - and Clapton - and BB King - and they're all touring this year.....

Just don't go climbing any palm trees......!
