Red card for Melo of Brazil! I well predicted that on my facebook page! Cynical battering of Robben all game. But it was stomping Sneijder that did it.
Did no one vote for Brazil?
Holland to proceed.
In spite of the stomping of Sneijder, Brazil played a marginally cleaner match than they did against Chile. (Is it just me, or is the game becoming a contact sport?)

Can Brazil pull back to win?
No.

. . . and no one voted for Ghana, Argentina or Uruguay . . .
I think we are Europe biased.
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
To be fair, KR2, I woudn't vote for Argentina even if they had a line up including (in their prime versions of) Pele, Cryuff, Beckenbauer, Eusebio, Gordon Banks, Maradona, Zidane, etc., while the opponents were all under the age of 3.
Well, maybe if they had Zidane......mmmmmmmmmm tasty......
Nope, not even with Zidane and Pele (the two greatest? maybe so...)
Here's my prediction for the (just started) Ghana-Uruguay game (c&p'd from my FB):
Oh, now do I call it for Ghana, or for Uruguay? See, my African blood says Ghana, but my football-heart says Uruguay for history' sake. My level head says this is a tough match either way. I'll go 3-2 Ghana. Some more flared tempers, a penalty (which will be saved or ballooned), and another controversial red card incident. Last minute goal will decide matters after a lengthy deadlock at 2-2.
Tho, I barely know these teams, so I'm really just guessing here.*
*The kind of thing that should get me a well-paid cushy job commentating on the WC for ITV, really.
Well, maybe if they had Zidane......mmmmmmmmmm tasty......
I am sure his opponents would like to wear full body armor before coming to the field against him.
Congrats Arjen! :D
Crow, yes, sometimes football is a contact sport. It depends on the team and the way they play but there are many teams (with no so much technical skills) that based all the game in the contact.
Ghana-Uruguay? Uruguay, of course! With 2 goals of our Diego Forlán!
Ghana score a frankly amazing surprise of a goal as the last kick of the first half. C'mon Ghana!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, maybe if they had Zidane......mmmmmmmmmm tasty......
I am sure his opponents would like to wear full body armor before coming to the field against him.
I have absolutely no idea what you might possibly be referring to. Honest.
Either way, this is hot....
and he's even sensible enough to wear earplugs to protect his hearing. Which musicians should do. Mmmmmm Zidane, complying with GN forum rules.
Funny Scrybe, I thought you would get the connection.

I'll state the obvious . . .
There's something not right with that guy.
Did he expect to not be penalized because he used his head?
(Of course I mean the literal sense of 'using his head'.)
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

Referring to what? I see nothing.
Netherlands v Brazil - close one to call. I don't think Brazil have hit top gear yet, but Holland are in a great run of form and could upset the odds. They're due a win against Brazil, too!
Uruguay v Ghana - both tightly knit sides who don't give much away, but the Uruguayans have shown some good individual skill and should edge this one.
Two out of two so far................
I won't be putting any money on those predictions at the bookie's, though.....
IDIOT!
