I am looking for a new (used actualy) fingerstyle steel string Acoustic/electric that will do the job w/o costing a fortune. Any ideas anybody? I have heard some of the vintage Guilds might work but I do not know if the nut is wide enough on any of the older models. Thanks

Check out the Breedlove Atlas series. the "concert" size models are very nice for fingerpicking.

The Seagull S6 Folk model works for me when I fingerpick, which is almost always. I don't have any electronics but use a Dean Markley soundhole pickup sometimes.

Oh yeah! Great guitar and can be found used for cheap. Nice wide fretboard.
