Has anyone managed to try one of these yet?
The preview thing looks pretty awsome
Wonder how much ifwhen it arrives over here? US sites have it at $1800 or roughly £900, my guess is we'll see them at around £1600 or virtually double!
Wow, I'd have thought this would be a popular guitar!
Even though noone is bothered UK price is going to be around £1200 apparently
I am suffering from GAS and yes this one has caught my eye. Mind you my Epi Sheraton does all I want and getting another guitar almost of the same shape and style doesn't quite get me going. I am seriously looking at an Ibanez PM 120, mnote I say looking My problem is when I keep looking at the same guitar for long enough I end up having to have it Aaaaaaaaaaaaagh
Those who can't dance always blame the band.
I was looking at the 339. I haven't seen one in person, but I am intrigued with the promo video:
(click on the link entitled, See & Hear the New Es-339, at the lower left on the screen)
The tones on the video are pretty nice! And the vintage sunburst is easy on the eyes!
I would love to try one out at my local Guitar Center, but I have been informed that they don't have any. I really like the smaller semi hollow body. I have an Epi Sheraton II and it is a pretty nice guitar, but the body has always felt a little too big for me. So, a semi hollow body guitar, about the same size as a Les Paul is promising. As long as it is as nice as it appears. Not much in the way of reviews yet, since it is a new model. It may make sense to wait a few months to hear the buzz.
Has anyone heard any 'buzz' on these yet?
I found one for a pretty nice price so I grabbed it. It was a Christmas present to myself. I got the vintage sunburst model w/ the 30/60 neck. Nothing bad can be said about mine. It is fast becoming my favorite! I love the tone from the 57 pickups - plays just about all styles I can think of well.
Just ordered one today, should get it in a couple of weeks :D
