Ok, so I'm thinking of buying a stratocaster in the $250 - $450 range and put away my modding tools for a while. I was looking at some of the standard MIM strats and possibly the Jimmy Vaughan strat in cream. I also like the 70's reissue strats withthe bullet trussrod. I've noticed the G&L Tribute strats are about the same price but come with 22-frets and a modern two-point tremolo. I've included pictures below. What do you think between the two brands? Any personal experience out there with these models?

as far as looks go that 500 is really sweeeeet.
