ok Ive saved enough for a new acoustic guitar,I have it narrowed down to 3 of them.
The first.

1.ovation celebrity cc28
2. ovation celebrity cc24
3.Takamine g series Nex eg 44c

Ive researched them all and thought maybe you here could help me out a little.

if you haven't played them before, ovations have a round back that can be much different to hold on to. if you haven't played one yet, i'd definitely play one before i'd consider buying one. personally, i don't like them. they slide out of my lap. but some people think they're great. they're a different animal.

I love my Ovation... it is a super shallow body, so it doesn't slide off the lap as easy. But, due to that, it lacks volume (unplugged). My buddy has a full size bowl and the volume is as loud and grand as any acoustic I have heard - but, it is a little difficult to hold at times. I would definitely recommend an Ovation... but they are a love it or hate it guitar - you will hear both sides.

ya i played the big bowl and the thin bowl..i didnt care for the big bowl but the thin bowl wasnt bad at all
