i cant keep guitar pics for the life of me, well i found out this morning ive been having a little help misplacing them. getting my shoes from under the bed i found a little pile of assorted pics, all w/ little puppy teeth marks in them. my fault i realize, so now im definitely hanging all my guitars on the wall off the floor.
Thinkin' bout the times we had
Some were good and some were bad
guitar fightin' the tv
i was thinkin bout you and me
Another stash spot, HMMM, interesting.
Didn't we determine a while back that some of our lost picks and loose change are ending up under the seat in CNEVs car? or was it someone else?

I'm pretty sure it was CNEV's so I think it is about time for another raid

I have CNEV's green guitar cord he left at my house :D But I'm pretty sure the picks go to the same black hole that all the socks go to    I have 2 dogs, so my guitars are on the wall :D
Pics are like golf balls. You may buy them, but in reality it's only a rental. :)

I'm a believer in the "plectoral critical mass theory" (plectoral from the latin for picks :P) That being that as you buy picks you loose them at a constant rate. and initially, despite all your searching you acn't find them and hoave to go get some new ones. but as the amount of picks you own (whether lost or located) increases you start to find picks. One should continue buying picks until you loose and find them around the house at the same rate. This amount of picks is know as the 'critical mass'
currently number 60 in total posts... and shooting for number 1!!
I play mostly with my fingers but I do find the occasional pick in the dryer when drying jeans or bandana's
Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

I subscribe to the dog theory...funny how I can always find little pieces of black plastic, but never a full plec....

It's goblins.
It's always goblins. There are sock goblins, pick goblins, car key goblins, and just general household goblins. Their job is to both hide things, and also to subtly move them around, so they turn up in places you're sure you didn't put them. :?
They also specialise in letting you find the thing you were looking for last week (and giving you random glimpses of the thing you'll be hunting next week) without actually letting you find what you're looking for today.
The "plectoral critical mass" that Sozay refers to is absolutely correct - and it occurs when the goblins themselves start to lose the old picks as fast as they're hiding new ones. Then we start finding them again...
Cheers, Chris

Dog , i like you collections :GREEN:
my picks are always getting picked up in the vaccum!!!
Well the next time I come across the sock goblin/ plectrum fairy/ remote elf/ screwdriver gnome, I'm going to confuse the hell out of it...if for example, it's the remote elf, I'll give it all my pics and tell it to hide them from the plec fairy...
:D :D :D

We've got a cordless phone fairy in this house. Two phones, and they are always "somewhere".
