Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am

nice one
:D :D
Agreed. Nice one.
Dare I admit that I can play it too.... well, a simple version anyway.
Not as well as this guy though:
How's your version coming along Trev??
Hehe, this song is really one of the few classical pieces that lends itself perfectly for electric guitar. It's a cheesy tune but I can't help liking it. :D
ya i kinda like it to 8)
even god loves rock-n-roll
It was our wedding song, chosen in part as an insider's nod to Basket Case being almost identical. I've always liked it though :)
I've loved that bit since the first time I saw it
"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." -- HST
I have this haunting feeling that everything I write from now on is going to have the Pachelbel progression! :(
"That’s what takes place when a song is written: You see something that isn’t there. Then you use your instrument to find it."
- John Frusciante
Mee Chris ???
I don't think so some how ....
Here is to you as good as you are

Yes, you mate. :D
Here's the chords:
D A | Bm F#m | G D | G A
If you don't like the look of those chords play it in C (Say: "Oh, I like to transpose it into another key. Everybody does it in D, and D is so passe...... ")
C G | Am Em | F C | F G
Just whang away with something slow and mournful with the right hand (If you're not much of a picker, a simple D,Du will do. Even just one Downstroke at a pinch. Especially if you do it nice and slow, and put on your best deep and meaningful look. ) When you get to the end do a little flurry and then grind round again...
And for extra effect you could play those last chords (in C) but put the capo on the second fret - then you're back in D again :P :P
Tell the missus you've learned a famous 300 year Classical piece just for her. :D
hysterical!
-=tension & release=-
Ohhh ....Chris
I see there is this chord in there for the life of me I can't change to , I can play it at the start of a song but can never get back to it ..
Which chord I hear you say ?
F Chord and I know what the F stands for and it isn't Friendly
