If the Tele has the Pearly Gates pup I don't think you'll need the SG. You should be able to get a very LP sound out of that guitar. I think the tough part will be getting a Tele sound out of it!

altho i'm not looking to get a "tele tone" from this i would think that some tele type tones would be possible due to the coil tap.
am i wrong?

also i'm wondering if the coil tap affects the personality of the REV G's mojo that i'm looking for?
