Hello there,

Just thought I'd drop by to ask the folks who are in the know. The Ibanez AW40NT Guitar - How good or bad is this?

I've read online that some really don't like this but at the same time there are some that do.

Is it more the case that it is a good guitar for the money? but not necessarily a good guitar..........

Thanks in advance.

Features and Specs
Back and Sides: Mahogany
Top Wood: Solid Sitka Spruce
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Frets: 20
Inlays: "Tree Of Life" abalone and pearl inlay
Machine Heads: Gold Die-Cast

Those are nice specs and it gets good ratings. I like spruce/mahogany guitars. It's like a Martin D-18 then & that's good!
It more precisely resembles a Tanglewood or Cort Earth 100 in origin/build, and Ibanez could get them off the same line.

Like a bird on the wire,
like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free.

Usually Ibanez makes great guitars. I am not played that acoustic but I always get good feelings with all Ibanez instruments. I have played basses and they are very good. In fact I am in love for an active bass. Also I was playing an hollow body the last week, the most simple, and it sounded and felt amazing.

Do you have the chance to play it before purchasing?

My wife, Leilani has an Ibanez nylon string with a Fishman pickup and it is built well, and sounds good.

That's my only experience with that brand.
