Just did a web search and found out that April is International Guitar Month.

I have an idea...

Why don't we pick a day in April and call it "International Play Guitar Day"

See how many players we can get around the world to play guitar at the same time...we could play same song or any...

Get some grass roots support and gather in local community centers, music halls, music stores, and even stadiums and get local media to cover each location.....

Wouldn't it be cool to see media coverage of us guitar players around the world all playing guitar at the same time....maybe even millions....

Start the buzz with a YouTube video.....

Are you in?

Let's do it.

I like that idea. there could be enough players to create a sound around the world.
we should all decide on a chord to play. one that would be in harmony of the note (Bd I think).
it could create a cool resonance. maybe wobble the world.

but ya know, every month is guitar player month around my house.

Not really a feasible idea there. Ever heard of time zones? There could be an effective mexican wave all over the world of a note, as time differs all over, the note would travel around the world eventually ending up back in its origional time zone.

But yeah, this guitar day sounds like an awesome idea!

eveyday is guitar day :D
but yeah, i'd be up for that. i have a small guitar at school i use for teaching sound waves with, so it wouldnt matter if i was at work!

what would be cool, is if everybody played the "brown" note, at the same time.

"I like to play that guitar. I have to stare at it while I'm playing it because I'm not very good at playing it."

No way, I never go swimming with a guitar.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

I play it the same as "twist and shout" by the Beatles. D - G - A
