Is this a big ad?

So I made it a question so you can all voice your opinions. If this is just too lame and off-topic then I'm sorry. The link will feature images of beerglasses filled with authentic uncensored beer, so apparantly you have to be 18+ to enter. Make sure any kids or younger brothers/sisters are far removed from the computer as not to create a deeply traumatic event. Mature people might find the link to be funny.

That is a big ad.

That's my kind of commercial.

I don't know if you've ever seen Akira Kurosawa's "Ran" but it is very similar. A cinematic tour-de-force.

Look at the size of this beer though. Remind me to go to Oktoberfest next year.

Yup, it's a big ad.

As much as I love beer I don't want them running around my stomach like that

Nick,

that's standard for Bayern - the "Maß". You can get smaller, but only to special order! The Wies'n, as it's locally known, is very expensive - that Maß will cost you $10 - and most aren't a full litre anyway.
There are also a lot of young women wearing Trachten (local costume) - almost makes paying $10 for a beer worthwhile.

O Zapfst iss!!

Hmmmmm, I think I'll just go and get another bottle from the cellar 8)

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Yes I know it's sometimes silly, but don't try to defeat the censor.

it wasn't anything too bad, but when the post consists almost entirely of words that the censor is here to prevent, well.....

maybe I was just being cranky.... :D

MMM.....BEER!!!!!

Why is it called Oktoberfest when it starts in September?

I have a photo somewhere of myself taken in Belgium in '75 at the Wieze beer festival with one of those 1 litre steins....to look at it, you'd think I was plastered...in fact, I'd had one mouthful, just happened to blink when the flash went off....ah happy days!!!

Since then I've dedicated a lot of time and money in the pursuit of the perfect pint...still haven't found it, but I haven't stopped looking...if only I'd spent as much time and money on guitars.....ah well!

:D :D :D

Try the little bar just off the concourse at Brussels airport (just up the corridor and round the corner from the jeweller's/watches shop). 8) 8) 8)
