seems to be the price of fame.
so if you were to become famous
which would you choose?
jailtime
rehab.
I think I would pick rehab. it sounds like alot more fun getting to there.
Done the first - came out, straight into the pub.
If I did the second it'd be straight out into the pub.
Not much of a choice really.....I'll take community service! Finish work, into the pub.....
Mind you I'd have to be famous first......
:D :D :D

Yes, fame's gotten way too expensive these days.
Better off without it.
I mean I know (of) a guy who's so famous his name is a household word. People joke about him because of how old and crinkly he looks. He's ridden the wild horses, been a pirate, has gobs of cash, traveled the world, tested gravity, rode a tank and been 200 lightyears from home.
And yet (I would assume), he can't just get up, get in a car (driven by someone else hopefully), go to a guitar shop and check out a less abused version of his favorite guitar without starting a riot and having the sales people turn instantly into the most annoying troupe of salivating toadies in town.
But he's famous, for what it's worth ;)
Rehab. It would be cool if you could choose what you got arrested for in the first place. Like for having a really bad back that goes out all the time. Arrested, booked and sent to rehab for the back.
See that would be something.
Personally, I'd try my best to do neither! :D
I've been to jail and didn't much care for it so I never went back. Never had reason to do rehab, don't see a good reason to start finding one now!

Whoa.. what kind of people am I hanging with??
Teasin. I would say neither to. LONG time ago I went to detox (jail) for a night. Was bad enough.. Never been back.

Seems like somebody has been listening to 'Jailhouse Rock' again and again...
I like to do my rehab in jail!
But both can do wonders for your career if you have the right PR people. As someone mentioned I think it would be more "fun" working your way to rehab then jail though.

It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
Jail or rehab are enough for me to avoid fame.

Everything is 42..... again.
Anybody see/hear Sarah Silverman's bit on Paris Hilton at the MTV music awards the other day? WHOA BOY! Paris did not look happy.
I don't think jail would work out for most guitarists.
After fingerprinting you'd get ink all over the fretboard and further, you can't turn your amp on. No electricity in the cell.

I would hope for niether but I might consider going to rehab if they let me stay at the same place as Keith Urban. [/swoon]
All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.
Has to be rehab -
- nobody shoots at you when you try to leave rehab early.........

Oh yea, that has been the recent happening news. Paris is spending about a month in Jail or so ? Now that will give her a lot of publicity.
in jail you would probably meet a better class of people overall
#4491....
Rehab. Seems much more realistic to expect, plus I doubt a slender wimp like me would have that much fun in prison.
