Ask Amy Winehouse (from Rehab:

"They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no' ..."

in jail you would probably meet a better class of people overall

:D

Probably true.

I've been to jail - once. And that was enough. It was a particularly grim and ancient jail (now closed) and we were there to give a performance of a play I was in.

There were some young and pretty girls in the cast and I wondered how they'd be received. When we got to the stage area it was being monitored by armed guards who were protected from the inmates by steel cages. We were in the space with the prisoners.

In the event they were the best audience we ever had - lively, responsive and appreciative. It was a full house and afterwards we got to chat with some of the guys. I asked one if attendance had been compulsory and he laughed and said "No! we're just the Cultural Crims group"....

It was a good experience going there but I've resolved to be a good boy ever since (apart from committing a few crimes against music of course...).

Cheers,

Chris

Well, I'd like to say I'd be able to avoid both....

As far as rehab goes;
The only vice I have left is Coffee.

I quit doing drugs when I was 20.
Quit drinking almost 4 years ago.
And quit smoking around 2 1/2 years ago (I think) (Quiting drinking doesn't bring back those lost brain cells. The memory is still a bit hazy)
And I did all three cold turkey.
So I know that I would not need rehab.

And although I have been arrested a few times.... I never did real jail time.

I am a bit of a hot head though. And like Alec Baldwin or Sean Penn, I just know I would have no problem beatin' on
people that spooked me after I got famous.

Seriously, I wouldn't want to be famous.
I look pretty much like Nicolas Cage.
And at times, it has been REAL scary.
When people will not believe that I'm not him.... It's just creepy the affect that 'fame' has on the 'average' person.
Wowzerz!!!!

Yeah, I guess I'm just one of those better class of people that would wind up in jail.

I went to jail many times, before I gave up playing Monopoly..................................

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

You're a genius GB .

Now why that didn't come in my mind.

Of course, I have been to jail countless number of times while playing 'Business' board game. I love it. Infact I try to throw the dices to always land in jail. Its awesome.

I'd go to jail for 3 days, get credit for 5, and then get house arrest for the remaining 40 days. That's what I'd do. Don't know if anyone else has tried that though.

You haven't lived until you've experienced the inside of a jail cell.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.

Being famous is definitely weird, I've been mildly famous in the past and while it was a total burden at the time, I've come to miss it. CitiZenNoir, you are an awesome actor, I'm going to watch Ghost Rider tonight, and I'm sure you'll give a good performance though I worry that the Rollins Band song Ghost rider might not make it into the movie... :p

I can't imagine what having a really strong resemblance to someone very famous would be like, though I imagine if you are single, it would have a great many perks, and some have turned it into a career.

I like to think I'd choose rehab, because if you are in a position where that is your choice, you've probably got a serious enough problem that you need the rehab (and seriously, who wouldn't take the easier way out in that kind of situation...). However if I was famous merely for being famous, then I'd want to maintain that fame and the best way to do that (and my publicist would concur totally) is with some jail time, followed by some massive party or the launch of my new show that'd almost certainly tie into prison or community service of some type.
