I would like a shout out about what the best song to just sit around with a few guitars and jam on. The funnest, loudest, exciting(est)...What ever. I would just like to hear some opinions.

I am addicted to the guitar, just like I am addicted to air and water.

almost everyone I know has thier own opinion on how to solo over smoke on the water. also IMHO smells like teen spirit is great with everyone hammering out power chords with thier volumes at 10.

wherever you go, there you are.

Got a lot of mileage jamming on "While my guitar gently weeps" last week.

Great song....

Great song....

The "Lead guy" For BAD Co. was Mick Ralphs, former guitarist for Mott the Hoople

IMHO - you gotta go a long way to beat Johnny B Goode as an opening jam. Straight, fast 12-bar which doesn't complain when you crash through the 30-minute barrier. Paranoid is great, so's All Right Now. Hard Day's Night and Can't Buy Me Love are excellent as jams, as is a lot of Eagles music (not Hotel California), and even Gay Bar stands up to some serious shredding. All The Small Things is nice and easy (lots of pop punk is) and makes good jam material.

Best,

Yeah Alan Johnny B. Goode is a great one, from Mr. Berry Little Queenie is another great one that can go on forever. Wild THing is another you can really stretch out into a good jam, so Is Bob Segars "Get out of Denver". ZZ's Tube Snake Boogie is also great for extended Jams

Gotta put in my vote for the generic 12-bar blues. Simple, straight-forward, and it always sounds right.
