What kind of guitar is it Lenny is playing? Is it electric or acoustic or a cross?

First off.... Kent; Thankx for sharin' Lenny with us! That was beautiful!

The guitar looks like a Gibson ES-125 (full body) ~ No cut/single P90.

It was a very inexpensive hollow body offering from Gibbo (note the tuners/dot markers/unbound neck).

A wonderful guitar though! 8)

The original singer in my band 20 years ago had an early 60's version - no cut/single P90/thin line.
I got to play it quite a bit.... I sure wish I had it now.

They also came in twin pup versions as well as single cuts and in the later 60's, even had adjustable bridges.

Oh - and the 125 was made for quite a while, so they are a-plenty....
Not a bad price usually....
and there's lots of beaters out there as well!

The wood is probably of better quality, and well seasoned....
A much better guitar IMO, than a new hollow body of comparable price....
as well as being a somewhat vintage/collectable guitar that will increase in value/hold it's value.

Just my .02 pence

I did not see anyone mention Grant Green. Great guitarist. Plays nice, simple, melodic lines. My instructor got me into him.

I'm realy into jazz, (wish I could play it too  ), and recently have been getting into some more "fusion" stuff like Scott Henderson - solo & with Tribal Tech, and Steve Morse & the Dixie Dregs. I really admire their comand of the guitar.
