hey everyone. ill be graduating from high school soon and im applying to LA's Musicians Institute. i was wondering if there is anykind of a shoegaze/post rock scene down in LA

Surely, in a city and metro area that large, there has to be some people that are into whatever you want. Look at what else has come out of the area. There seems to be a lot of innovators there, some glam/hair metal, theatrical types of bands, good luck with it.
It is a small world for metal fanatics. I welcome you fellow musicians, especially the metalheads!
