Thought you guys might be interested in this.

Planet Rock ( http://www.Planetrock.com ) has compiled the following chart based on listener's votes for their favourite Led Zep song - I've been listening this afternoon. So for your perusal.....
LED ZEPPELIN'S GREATEST MOMENTS

1: KASHMIR
2: STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
3: SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU
4: WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS
5: DAZED AND CONFUSED
6: ACHILLES LAST STAND
7: ROCK AND ROLL
8: WHOLE LOTTA LOVE
9: BLACK DOG
10: IMMIGRANT SONG
11: NO QUARTER
12: IN MY TIME OF DYING
13: TEN YEARS GONE
14: THE BATTLE OF EVERMORE
15: TRAMPLED UNDER FOOT
16: HEARTBREAKER
17: GALLOWS POLE
18: OVER THE HILLS AND FAR AWAY
19: RAMBLE ON
20: THE RAIN SONG

Must be the first LZ poll in history not to have "Stairway" at #1.....and I must admit, yes I do prefer Kashmir!

:D :D :D

I've always liked Immigrant Song for some reason, though consider it a guilty pleasure. Hearing Jack Black do it confirmed the campiness, and just made me like it even more. "... hammer of the gods ..." indeed!

Don't really care that much about these polls, but it is nice to see StH not on top, as it's not even close to the best of Zep. Kashmir is a truly inspired tune -- remember being in the backseat with my date while that played ... and we really listened to the music.

Levee really tells where Zep came from musically. Which begs the question "WHAAAT! No Lemon Song?"

I'm a little surprised that "Heartbreaker" didn't score higher. That's one of the BEST solos EVER, IMO. Pure, in-the-moment magic.
