I have a lead on one of these, with a faulty reverb unit. From what I understand, the reverb isn't much to speak of when it works.

Otherwise, I think the amp sounds pretty good, and it definitely has enough power for a practice amp.

I think I can get it for about $150. Is it worth it?

Yup.....and Yup.

I bought one for $150 off Craig's List a few years back. It's a good little Amp and Plenty loud .....and...... its a Marshall :).

Test it out first of course, the pots in it may need some cleaning, so don't be surprised if some are scratchy! It happens, these "VS" models are getting pretty old.

Mine also came with a two button foot switch for channel switching and reverb on/off, though the reverb switch doesn't work its fine with me since I don't tinker much with the reverb anyway.

If it doesn't work out once you bring it home, well you can probably re-sell it for what you paid for it.
