it is a site where you create your own radio station by selecting music.
type in an artist or song and it finds it and plays it back. you are prompted to rate it yes or no. if yes, it delivers another song in the same genre.
you slowly build an awesome playlist of tunes you might never have heard about.
I did a country roots show last night and have begun a blues show.
wow. it's all free.
Someone sent me to that site. Too bad it only works for so long, then you have to be a resident of the US to keep using it. I did like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" radio though.
Yup, great site. I switch between using my personal mp3s, this, and last.fm.
Last.fm basically keeps track of every mp3 I play, then offers suggestions via their radio based on what I play. Same concept, different way to get there.

I told it I was Bill Gates and gave a made-up US zip code and it works fine even though I gave it a ".co.uk" e-mail addy.
