Just picked this up from craigslist. Ibanez 4 string acoustic bass. The guy has had it for a while and almost never played it. I haven't found a nick or scratch on it yet. Click the picture for full size.

She is a beauty! My son looked at Ibanez but the ones in Musicians Friend in his price range had a shorter scale and he had to have the 34" (I think that is what it is). Being fretless it would make a difference to him. I'll show him the pic on my next day off. Oh the GAS!!!

That's going to take some getting used to. This one is 32" and I'm used to full scale 34". I'm sure it would make a much bigger difference with a fretless.

Congrats on your find!

I was just thinking that a 3/4 inch jump in scale length leaves me awkward for a minute or so. I can't imagine a two inch jump.
