Noise reduction pedals?

Can anyone suggest a good noise reduction pedal? I'm running a Telecaster into a Carl Martin Hot Drive N' Boost into a Blues Deluxe. There's no noise until I kick in the overdrive.

I don't want to spend over $100 if possible. I hear good things about the Boss, and not so good things about the Rocktron.

Thanks for any help.

Ed

I'm looking too. Have narrowed it down to Boss NS-2, ISP Decimator, and MXR Smart Gate. Supposedly rack mount versions do better, but I'd prefer the pedal format as well.

I've heard of the ISP or MXR models. Have you tried any of these?

Not yet - have only seen the Boss in my local shops. I've heard only good things about all three though. Also looked at the EHX Hum Debugger, but I'm told there are some quality issues with it.

Cool - I'll look into some of those. If you happen to try or buy one let me know and I'll do the same.

Well I just got an NS-2 on ebay for fifty bucks, so I'll check it out and post a review when I receive it. :)
