Can anyone recommend a drum site, particularly maybe Bish could since he does both (or anyone else that guitars/drums)...I know I searched around and found you guys on my own, but I respect the opinions and advice here to turn me on to a good drum site. Thanks much!

You are talking about drums, now. What good are they? :D

Plus the only good drummer is the one you just tipped for the speedy pizza delivery. . . . . oh wait. wrong joke. :x :D

Drummer forums...here's the ones I go to....

http://drumdogs.com/message-board-forum/index.php

http://www.pearldrummersforum.com/

http://www.centerstagem.com/forum/index.php (I think another GNer has started going here too but I haven't been able to confirm it. They won't respond to my questions yet. :? :D )

There are probably many more but here is my list.

Thanks Bish, I saw a couple of those but was looking for something similar to "Guitar Noise" as far as helpfulness and comradery. I didn't check out the pearl site since I wasn't sure how biased it would be. I'm mostly wanting to compare electronic vs "real" drums...I live in an apt but am hoping to get a house soon; perhaps one with a basement and am trying to figure out if I should wait til to get real drums or go for an electronic set to satisfy my need to bang on something. :D

I'm afraid to put this in print but there aren't many sites that hold a candle to this one, all things considered. I don't go there very often cuz there isn't much they can teach me that I'm not already aware of.

The Pearl site is rather biased and quite frankly overwhelming. I log on and look around and think, "jeesh, where do I go?" I usually go look at a few posted drum pictures and then bop back over here to annoy.

Now to address the other issues. I own and use both acoustic and electronic drums and have a decent set in both. Ask me what ever it is you'd like to know about them. I'll give you the best imformation I have.

If you'd rather, PM me your questions, if you don't want to share with the world. I'm good either way. :D
