I bought this no-name, well Amigo, guitar for almost nothing ($85.00) this past summer to take to the park with me. It's a half size guitar with a real Spruce top, made in Romania. I'm not going to say that it sounds all that good. It has that tinny sound that a lot of small guitars have. But it's small, lightweight and is 1-3/4" at the nut. This makes it REALLY easy to play. I'd recommend this guitar for a first guitar anyone on a budget. It's so easy to play that a lot of the problems beginners have just go away. You could learn on this one, transfer up to a better one and you'd be able to play it easier. Even though I have two other guitars, a Martin and a Seagull, I use this one as my learning guitar when trying to learn something difficult (which is just about everything!)
