I was struggling with soloing blueswise. So my teacher decided to have me work with a song. He picked Redhouse.
Didn't help. Still struggling.
But, yeah, an incredible song.

I dunno about "the best electric blues song ever," but it's a great one!
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
Its one of my favorites for sure 8) 8) 8)
i like the slow version of voodoo child better
Voodoo chile and Redhouse are magnificent. Pride and Joy by SRV is great too and of coures Texas Flood. Theres enough superb guitar work in those four songs to fill an entire book of blues licks.
At this time I would like to tell you that NO MATTER WHAT...IT IS WITH GOD. HE IS GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL. HIS WAY IS IN LOVE, THROUGH WHICH WE ALL ARE. IT IS TRULY -- A LOVE SUPREME --. John Coltrane
I like the slow version of Voodoo Child also, the acoustic "Hear my train a' comin" blows me away. Catfish blues, Mannish boy and Bleeding heart arent too shabby either!
