Well it is quite well established that Rock and Roll saves lives.
This last Saturday, it saved me a bunch of money and a possible court appearance.
So, I am driving home from Woodstock, NY after my guitar lessons.
I have "Whole lotta love" blasting in my stereo and I had no idea that the speed limit was 45.
I was at 61 ...
Soon, I get pulled over, the cop comes over and is like, "Did you have any idea how fast you were going."
I am like, "I am sorry office, I got so caught up in this song that I didn't notice".
And I took the CD case and pointed to track 1.
He takes a look and goes, "Zeppelin, damn good band! Well slow down, I have seen too many accidents on this road."
and lets me go ... :) :)

I got pulled over for loud music by some stupid cops on a training exercise, got a ticket for noise pollution.$250. Went to court and the D.A asked me what I was listing to, when I said "David Bowie" he started to laugh and dropped the ticket from $250 to $20.

A couple months back, I got pulled over while listening to "Radar Love".
After he gave me a warning, I told him the song was on when he pulled me over and we both got a good laugh over it.
if i said it once, i've said it a thousand times "zeppelin, there is noooo substitute"
oooooohhhhhh, yaaaaaaaaaa :D

"zeppelin, there is noooo substitute"
Quite correct - "Substitute" is a Who song 8)
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

It depends on the state. Here in KY it is 65mph max on the interstate. I have been in some states where it is 75mph.
Fines vary a lot state to state. It usually depends on how much you exceeded the speed limit. The most I have ever paid is $175 for 20 over the limit. (it was closer to 30 but the officer reduced it)
Interview guy: What is the source of your feedback?
Neil Young: Volume.
In Tennessee, 20 MPH or more over the limit is automatically presumed to be reckless driving. That's a whole lot worse than a speeding charge.
