Hey guys. I need your quick opinions on this amp Ive got. I originally bought my Peavy 5150 Cab with a Carvin MTS 3200 Anniversary Edition Combo Amp without speakers, being used as a "head."
Few months later, for christmas I got a Peavy VK100 Valve King, to match with the peavy cab. Now, the speakerless Carvin just litterally sits in my closet. Sits.
This bad boy is fully made in the USA, and the tubes are in great shape, and theres only real minimal wear n tear on the vinyl. According to Carvin.com the Retail is like $799.00 New. This amp is like 4-5 years old.
I want to put it up on ebay and get rid of it, but how much do you guys think I could get for a used MTS 3200 anny edition, with no speakers? At carvin.com I can get the original stock speakers and install them, do you guys think that would increase the value by much? Vote for your opinion.
1. Sell The Carvin on Ebay without speakers
2. Sell the Carvin on Ebay after new OEM Speakers installed
3. Keep the carvin & install speakers
Just need to know your guys' ideas. Its a cool amp, but idk what I should be looking for.
Let me know guys
Thanks
Josh

I'd go for #3, but that's just me. Always nice to have another amp around, if you've got room. Never hurts to look at other speaker options besides original, either, since you've got to replace them.

+1 on 3, making it a 6 now, Can't go wrong, and you still get to sell it later if you want. You never know. If it was working, you might find a use for it.

Listen to Ricochet's suggestion and consider some other speakers as well ...

I'm late here but I'm another 3 vote and yes by all means, consider other speakers as well.
