Guitar World Acoustic tabbed out an acoustic version this month. It has a couple nice barre chords that are not too difficult but provide a challenge - for me at least. G to b-flat minor and Am to F/w alternating F and E in the bass.

I'm working on the SRV version of voodoo child but I'm not going to have much practice time because school starts next week :(
music's all the same deep down, eighth notes, time signatures, scales, etc.., but people still say what your listening to isn't music, how weird.
The last 2 songs I worked on were EC's Layla(Electric) and Joe Walsh's Life's Been Good. Funny thing happend on the Joe Walsh song. It has a bend on the 2nd fret of the A string and I bent my string permenantly. Never seen that before. Kinda cool. I am waiting on a Fat Strat Pickguard assembly to replace my SSS on my strat, if it weren't for that I would change the strings now. I'm cheap.
2 other songs I recently worked on. Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne and Shania Twain's No One Needs to Know. Stacy's Mom is pretty easy and fun to play but the strumming on that Shania song is tuff, I probably still don't have it right.
Practice Practice Practice.
My dad would always talk about retirement, and allude to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. And I say all you've got at the end of the rainbow is death. You're riding the rainbow right now. - Mark Borchardt
