Not that I have a problem with muting strings when I'm tapping so that I don't get any weird noises.

But I use, I think, a weird method O_O.

I use my arm when I'm tapping in the lower frets, I kinda just rest my arm on the neck, and my hand is in like a hook shape, like the one seen in the Peter Pan movies xD, ( captain Hook), and my one finger is the hook, and I tap ( I keep the pick in between the fingers( other fingers).

Thats when I'm tapping on the higher strings, when I'm tapping on the 3rd or 4th strings, I rest my pinky on the two or 3 higher strings and tap at the 3rd or 4th.

When I'm tapping in the higher frets I kinda use my wrists to mute O_O, I better be real careful xD.

So just wondering, what technique do you use to mute whne you are tapping.

I wanna be that guy that you wish you were ! ( i wish I were that guy)
