That's great!
I was practicing with a band once and we had set off an alarm. The police show up while we're playing and come in with guns. They thought we were robbing the place. The guitar player said "If we were robbing the place, why would we be taking the time to jam?" No kidding. I lost it, I saw a cop holding a gun on me and I started screaming for him to put the @$@@# gun away. The drummer and guitar player thought I was going to get shot. True story. We didn't write a song about it, wasn't really humorous at the time.

I've read plenty of dumb crook stories about real burglars who've fixed and eaten meals, taken naps, etc. That'd likely be a first, though, setting up a band and jamming during a burglary. You'd make the "Dumb Crook News" on John Boy and Billy's Big Show with that one. That'd get you some real cred in a Southern prison.

That's pretty good, I laughed  What an odd way to get a gig but you got a gig out of it no less!

Ah, but not for very long, if memory serves me correctly. Have a safe and wild fiftieth next week, Vic!
