Does anybody know if The Kinks or Ray Davis ever did an acoustic album or video/DVD ?

Saw Ray on VH1 storytellers a while back, he did an AMAZING version of Lola - might want to check if that's on again.

Gotta love that title track! My mate and I are trying to cover it, but he keeps getting the vocals one chord change out of sync on the verses... mucho hair pulling.
i'm just going to mention "waterloo sunset" and the fact that elliot smith did some great covers of it.
What I'd like is an acoustic version of "A Gallon Of Gas" and I see its actually on To The Bone, (thanks Rgalvez) but it seems as tho' Amazon dont have it in stock.

Try Froogle, there's a few there, and although they seem to be US-based they also seem to be happy to ship to the UK (and they're in Froogle UK in the first place, so that's a good sign ). None too cheap, but I gues that's to be expected for 29 tracks :)
You can play almost any song in the "Kinks Katalogue" on acoustic to wonderful effect. Gallon of Gas, at heart, is pretty much a twelve bar blues number. You just need to pick what key you want to do it it. People I've played it with usually do it in E.
Peace
Hey Dave,
Any chance of a song lesson for Gallon of Gas?
I can probably figure it out from what you've just said, but it's always helpful to see in print (or the web, so to speak).
