This guitar is beautiful and i would like to share it with you guys.
Here is what Slash said about it:
"The weight of the guitar, the way the neck is, the humbuckers; all that stuff just appeals to me as a guitar player. [The Les Paul] really is the best all-around guitar for me." – Slash
You can check it out here:
It may be pretty but $7K for a guitar?...
You could get a LP Robot and a Moog guitar for that + an amp or two.
or loads of lessons....
I see 'kids' drooling over these in the larger shops...wondering just who they are aimed at...
I bet Slash never paid $7K for the guitar he recorded Appetite with...
Although...when I drool like the 'kids'. I prefer the Dark Fire

That is beautiful but for that much money I would buy a music man and a nice amp. I would save the rest for future gas.
I'd rather play the most beautiful guitar in the room.
Lot of money for a guitar - I'll bet the Epiphone Slash Goldtop is a heck of a lot cheaper!
:D :D :D

"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
BUt if I played that, I'd still sound like me.
If Slash played mine, he'd sound like Slash.
I'm not knocking gear. I love gear. But...it's not the gear that does the trick....
Best,

I believe it was Joe Pass who once was playing guitar when someone commented that the guitar he was playing sounded brilliant. He set the guitar down and then asked, "how does it sound now?"
That said, I love the Sadowsky Jim Hall! Even when I'm playing it!!
