Dear Folks and Friends,

Its a great feeling being a part of this wonderful forum and website. :D

As the new year approaches, we all are busy in making plans for how to celebrate the moment.

So, what are your plans for this upcoming event ? Like, what are the plans for christmas or new year ? Going out or staying in ? Playing music with friends and relatives or simply lying comfortably in bed ?

My plan ? I shall be playing some more guitar at midnight and try to write a song about the overall experience I had in this year. It has been certainly eventful !

Looking forward to have a great new year and celebrate many more such occasions with GN (don't forget the plans, we need em' !)

Rahul

  • 1. Quit smoking
    2. Eat healthy more often
    3. Spend more time w/my kids-less time at work
    4. Become the biggest, badest guitar slinger that ever walked the earth.
    5. Write a song with 2 (and a half ) chords in it and take over the world.
    6. Learn the 5th position in the pentatonic scale.
  • Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.

    so far:
    1: Van Halen in February
2: Doctor wants me to do a stress test. The idea of doing it is already stressing me out.
3: Keep playing, recording, and get gigs.
4: Don't gain any weight, in fact, loose a few pounds.
5: This is the year of the big 5-0. Looking forward to those senior discounts (but don't ignore #4).
6: Spend less time at work and more time with my wife and family (the dogs!).
7: Spend even less time at work.
8: That's a great idea! Less time at work.
maybe what I really need to do is....
    9: Win the lottery!!!

Practice guitar and mando more regularly
Learn all the words to a few songs
    Lose weight
    Go for regular walks

    It's a little short in supply... ;)

Me, dunno yet - it's difficult to arrange with the kids (5 and 3) as all our usual babysitters have plans of their own. Ten years to the day that I met my wife, too

Well I have only owned a guitar for almost two weeks. My new years resolution/project, is to learn a blues song and be able to play it all the way through. May sound like cake to most of you, but I have a hard time fitting anymore than 30 minutes day into playing. So I am looking for what that song should be, Red House would be a dream come true, but looks a little rough :-) Maybe Sweet Home Chicago instead.

I'm going to Disneyland!!! :D Really I am.

-Pick up one of my guitars and play it.
-Find a better job so I can have time to play guitar.
-Try not to be so cranky all the time because of lack of time for guitar.

    Play my guitars period.
